Connecting for good! Vodafone volunteers encourage primary school children to stay safe online.
The Vodafone Foundation funds projects around the world that are run in partnership with other charitable organisations and NGOs. Globally, it supports projects that are focused on delivering public benefit through the use of mobile technology across the areas of health, education and disaster relief. In the UK, and as befits a giant of the communications business, much of Vodafone’s charitable focus has been on helping young children learn how to enjoy the benefits of the internet revolution whilst staying safe online. This new video shot at a range of schools in Manchester is the latest of a series of well-received collaborations between Jazzbones and the Vodafone Foundation.
We spent two fabulously rewarding days on location in Manchester with Vodafone Foundation, The Diana Award and Parent Zone capturing great stories and interviews with enthusiastic volunteers and schoolchildren. Using state-of-the-art 4k cameras, our video team captured extensive footage of student ambassador events in schools and at Vodafone volunteer workshops. That raw footage was then edited by our in-house team with branded motion graphics, titles, sound effects, voice-overs and music. The final 2-minute video demonstrates how the three charity partners work in schools to spread awareness of safe online behaviour in order for children to be secure in cyberspace and resilient to any online dangers. The video will be used by Vodafone Foundation to spread the word about the vital work they do in schools with KS1 and KS2 pupils. Confidentiality means we cannot share this exciting video just yet, but if you would like to know how we can create the difference to your next video project, then please give us a shout!
